Bring a close to your summer with an exciting boat cruise where you will get an exclusive look what’s in store for HHM 2012. Enjoy food, live music, drinks, and great company aboard the Princess Wenonah.
“We are excited to share with the public what this season is going to consist of,” said Christa Schubert, one of the organizers of HHM.
Before even being released to the public, the film and music line-up will be announced at the cruise, weeks before anyone else will find out. Scheduled film guests will also be announced.
Schubert says that every year she hears from guests that are amazed at the films in the festival, not aware that it was possible to see them in a smaller area like Bay City. The festival gives access to films that you can’t necessarily see “on the big screen.”
With purchase of a ticket on the cruise guests will receive a voucher for a free film at the festival. The ticket also includes a red carpet welcome, live entertainment from Andy Reed and Jeff Yantz, a picnic buffet dinner, a three hour cruise, and a complimentary drink (valued up to $5.50).
Guests will also be automatically entered to win brand new HHM 2012 merchandise and will be able to purchase an all-access pass for the festival at a discounted price (for $40, a $10 savings).
This fundraiser originated from a donation from Jeff Yantz of Edward Jones Investments and long-time friend of the festival. He purchased a charter cruise at a silent auction and gifted the cruise to HHM.
“This is a very generous gift on his part,” Schubert said.
The cruise is schedule for Tuesday, August 28, starting at 5:30 p.m. and running until 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased through BrownPaperTicket.com. Please see more details below.
