Don and I are looking for photographers and videographers for this years festivals and I figured I’d try a new route this year by doing a post about it.

Earn tickets and passes by helping out with photographing or recording, special events before, during, and after the festival.
We need energetic, enthusiastic, and devoted volunteers to help us make capturing festival no. 17 a success. Volunteer and meet others who share your interest in film and music.
We make it super easy in the sense that you don’t even need to edit (though you totally can for your own portfolio purposes).
Hell’s Half Mile Film & Music Festival is looking for several photographers and videographers to help us capture our seventeenth festival, September 21-24, 2023. You will attend sessions, films, and music events and share your RAW Images and Footage with the HHM team. Volunteering as a photographer or videographer includes a complimentary event registration.
Requirements: Volunteers must have experience with event photography / videography or a willingness to learn, be able to attend several key events and a training session beforehand, be capable of taking high-resolution images, and be willing to share their RAW footage to Google Drive folders each evening after their shifts. Volunteers will take photos / video during the entire festival, but each volunteer will be assigned several key events to cover.
