OPENING NIGHT FILM

Reel­ing from the loss of her mother, Ana (Judy Marte from HHM 2010 film “X’s and O’s”) tries to ignore her grief by help­ing an eccen­tric older woman (Karen Black “Five Easy Pieces”) orga­nize her life.  She soon real­izes that she needs to accept her lim­i­ta­tions, as well as the com­pli­cated lives of her altru­is­tic boyfriend (Brian Rieger) and her com­pet­i­tive sis­ter (Lau­ren Fales).  This ten­der drama exam­ines the space we need from oth­ers and the spaces we need to share.  This is Pro­ducer Jen­nifer Glynn’s 2nd film at HHM.  She vis­ited HHM in 2009 with fes­ti­val favorite and opener “Timer”.
