Don’t miss the March Indie Music Showcase

10842102_1037854632908200_7646384023936040935_oHot on the heels of the incendiary February performances of Flint Eastwood, Passalacqua, George Morris & the Gypsy Chorus, and Chalk Fight, HHM has round three of 2015’s Indie Music Showcase series ready to go.

As you’ve come to expect from HHM, an eclectic mix of Michigan groups is coming at you on Saturday, March 28, at BeMo’s Bar (where else?).

Kicking things off at 9 p.m. is the impossible-to-pigeonhole/ambient jazz noise rock of Pines (Davison). They’re followed by the bluesy guitar stomp of Hawk & Son (Flint), who are in turn succeeded by the deliciously punkish and enticing MPV (formerly known as My Pal Val from Detroit). Capping it all off is the visually, aurally, and intellectually-stimulating art show that is Nigel & the Dropout (Detroit).

Doors are at 8 p.m. and, as usual, there is no cover charge. Lightnin’ Licks Vinyl Preservation Society will be keeping the music flowing before, between, and after bands to ensure no lag time.

As any show is better when you have a decent foreknowledge of the bands’ repertoires, follow the links below to give each act a few listens before coming out:
