The second Hell’s Half Mile Indie Showcase of 2014 is less than a week away and features the return of HHM8 favorites Flint Eastwood and three other class-A acts. Also featuring Detroit’s hip-hop duo Passalacqua, Toledo’s groovy and sinister Silent Lions and Bay City’s own Distorted Waltz, the show is to begin at 9 p.m. on Saturday, March 15, at BeMo’s, 701 S. Madison Ave.
Doors open at 8 p.m. and there is no cover charge.
Flint Eastwood played during the most recent Hell’s Half Mile Film & Music Festival in September 2013, performing during the main music event in the Masonic Temple’s Blue Theatre. Half of Passalacqua — Bryan “Mister” Lackner — performed the same night at an after party. Silent Lions and Distorted Waltz are new to the HHM banner.
The Bay City Times/MLive recently posted an article featuring comments from members of all four bands, which can be read here.
